A food preparer cannot prepare exactly what every individual guest wants. That is why a restaurant has a menu showing what is possible. A special request may be made, but circumstances determine whether it can be fulfilled. Asking never automatically guarantees that the answer will be yes. Daily life works in the same way. People may ask us for help, attention, advice or time, but we cannot meet every wish. We also have to work, keep appointments, care for family, rest and build a better future. Helpful people often feel guilty when they say no. From the heart, they would prefer to support everyone. But one person cannot be in two places at once or solve every problem.
