Sarah Dahl lives at the edge of the rural German Eifel and writes historical fiction (novels and short stories) primarily set in the Viking age. She loves to challenge overused concepts of the time and its peoples in her writing, breaking them down to just that: men and women facing the immediacy of life and death, love and lust in a world of crackling fires and rough landscapes.
