Shan L. Scott is an Ipswich, QLD, Australian writer with a penchant for the dark and macabre. Her interest in all things supernatural and her natural instincts in deftly weaving it into a tale makes her storytelling riveting. Her vast life experience can be perceived in the mature themes of her books, and the manner in which she approaches and explores often dark, yet extremely sensitive topics is a testament to her insight and innate desire for exposing the truth of a situation.

Shan has a diverse background, from a career in Electronics in Central Queensland’s Coal mining belt, to Quality Assurance and bridge building in Brisbane, she has always enjoyed an intellectual challenge. She studied a B Digital Design at Griffith University and BA

Creativity needs a channel to flow through and if you aren't relaxed writing may become more difficult. I am a night owl so writing for me generally happens in the wee hours. I like to take a nice shower or bath, enjoy a glass of wine and some chocolate, and generally spoil myself to get me in the mood to write. When I'm clean and relaxed I find the words come much easier and I can get a good chunk of the story down before I retire for the night.(less)

An Everlasting Love

Hi all,

Life has been quite busy of late, I have been getting creative, writing and engaged in various other activities. I am feeling very grateful for the time I have now to rest and recuperate, and I shall do so to the best of my ability. But not before I talk to you about one of the main themes of my book, SEE ME.
