How do you deal with writer’s block?

I start the first fifteen minutes or so thinking about normal day stuff and things that need to get done, so I can get those thoughts done and over with. Then I I think about what I'm writing and what I've written to-date and try to visualize it. From there, I let the thoughts free flow. Don't let me kid you, there are times that I've literally scolded the characters for not speaking to me! I spent 3 weeks in writer's block for my 6th book and I realized, eventually, that it was because I was worried about the editing of another book. I stopped, completed the editing, and then the ideas started up again - whew!(less)
