Simon Chiatante is a language teacher, translator and author from Italy.

Years spent teaching and traveling across China gave him the chance to dive into the multiple facets of its arts and philosophies, as much as into Zen buddhism and into the Way of Tea, unexhaustible sources of inspiration for his writing.

Based in Shenzhen, where he founded the Shenzhen International Poetry association, he has been appointed Global Communication Ambassador by the Shenzhen Daily newspaper, and International Experience Officer by the authorities of Qianhai area for his cultural activity.

His work is included in several projects and publications in literary magazines between Europe and China, such as RIVISTA (Milan) and Poetry World (Shanghai).
