Jim Kochanoff’s specialty is action/adventure, putting the reader into adrenaline driven stories. His first novel “Men of Extreme Action” is based on the action movie industry and is signed with Toonz Animation of India to be produced as an animated television pilot.

He is the former production manager of the animated children series, “The Hippo Tub Co.” airing on the CBC and created by Canadian musician Anne Murray.

He is the Chairman of the Nova Scotia SPCA and uses the proceeds from his children’s book towards this worthy charity. He is Chartered Professional Accountant (CMA) and works for the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness. What a strange book. The main character was interesting and so was the story. Sometimes the plot was a bit crazy but overall I would recommend.

Fun read - good characters. Sometimes it was more about hijinks than running but an enjoyable story.

It was hard read for me - the lead character was so unlikeable, almost everyone was unlikeable except her friend Jenny. The ending made the lead redeemable but it was long time to get there.

Similar to Ender's game and Hunger Games. Characters were good but some of the situations seemed forced. Her discovery was totally preventable and I appreciate it was needed to move the plot, but could have been done in a more believeable way. ...more

The short stories )especially the first two were well written. The long story in the middle was bit draggy.
