My momma taught me the old dictum. "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything."

As for fictional couples, I'm all for any and all of Diana Gabaldon's--Jamie and Claire, Brianna and Roger, Ian and Jenny, Ian and Rachel, etc., etc. Each one of these couple have the real-to-life connection that I know first hand with my husband. The reality of the bond makes them connect with my personal experience. (less)

Sometimes we have to punt--to use a football term. That's what I find myself doing right now. I need a few months for health issues, so I'm taking the blog on hiatus.

Know that I'll be reading and the #BookDoctor will be back.

Take care, y'all! I wish you all the happiest holiday Read more of this blog post »

Anita W Dear Zan, Congrats on your work as an author. I have just written a Children's Picture book and I'm waiting on my galley to arrive on April 29. I am extremely excited. Sherry Brown is my illustrator and she did hand drawn, watercolor painted illustrations. I would love for you to read and review when it comes out. I realize it is out of your regular desired reading but I'd appreciate your review and time and effort. I am so excited to be an author! I have my second book written and read to be edited. It is a chapter book for K-3 readers. Love, anita buice :)
