Authors need protection

Not once I realized how vulnerable creative minds can be. At night, when the majority of people are sleeping, authors are writing in the dark. If no one offers them a glass of water, they never ask. The same with food. In a short period of time they can become accustomed to such "food free nights."

Some authors prepare in advance. They are surrounded by tiny dishes filled with candy, peanuts, honey, water ...

Often, in middle of the night, they need to take a walk. That's when protection becomes important, everywhere. Authors are continuing with the stories in their minds and they do not see the surroundings or where they walk. They become like robots.

It takes a special person, someone who loves them, who is able to put them in place and help them focus on reality when away from the writer's chair.

I love TWITTER!

Twitter is simple and efficient. Most curious people, like me, love sharing what they believe to be important and/or entertaining. Two years ago I started on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ElyssePoetis and ... in the beginning I needed a bit of time to explore my options. Today, I am happy to admit that Twitter is absolutely fun. You can visit the site and view the few photos and videos I posted in the last few days.

Since I believe in a brilliant future, scientist Neil Turok become one of my favourites. I started listening to his lectures on TVO. Then I moved to YouTube for more. Mr. Turok has the ability to simplify the complexity attached to the overall mountain of discovery. With a permanent smile on his face, he makes it entertaining.

Speaking of the future - I am convinced that if we move so fast towards a quantum environment, as an author/poet/photographer I should be prepared for the transition. Who knows how these art-forms would/should manifest in a quantum world.

Regardless of tomorrow, today Twitter is my friend. It permits me to share my discoveries and my enthusiasm with the entire world. In the process, I continuously promote scientific and technological news. That's why, I love TWITTER!
