I love TWITTER!
Twitter is simple and efficient. Most curious people, like me, love sharing what they believe to be important and/or entertaining. Two years ago I started on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ElyssePoetis and ... in the beginning I needed a bit of time to explore my options. Today, I am happy to admit that Twitter is absolutely fun. You can visit the site and view the few photos and videos I posted in the last few days.
Since I believe in a brilliant future, scientist Neil Turok become one of my favourites. I started listening to his lectures on TVO. Then I moved to YouTube for more. Mr. Turok has the ability to simplify the complexity attached to the overall mountain of discovery. With a permanent smile on his face, he makes it entertaining.
Speaking of the future - I am convinced that if we move so fast towards a quantum environment, as an author/poet/photographer I should be prepared for the transition. Who knows how these art-forms would/should manifest in a quantum world.
Regardless of tomorrow, today Twitter is my friend. It permits me to share my discoveries and my enthusiasm with the entire world. In the process, I continuously promote scientific and technological news. That's why, I love TWITTER!

Happy author/poet, sensitive and emotional
Writing and photography is so much work and fun. The details involved until the final product is ready ... The infinite temptation to change things ... The last minute overwhelming emotions ...
Yet, at some point the piles of text and/or images have to be assembled in what we call BOOKS. That's when emotions inject fear in us!
"Is this good? Can these books entertain the readers? Isn't this to childish? How can I let it go?"- is what we fear most.
With e-books it is a bit easier, since we can make small changes continuously and/or revise completely the entire book. But with printed books we take risks. Huge risks! Imagine signing the proof and letting go forever. The very next minute we imagine another cover, another picture, different size, different layout or even different characters.
In my case, when I enter a book store and see my books displayed, the world rotates with me in reverse.
"Oh, my God ... What have I've done?"
Then, suddenly someone relaxed would start a conversation, and soon I find myself happy like a child, talking and talking ... And, to my surprise, people respond with kindness and they purchase the book.
I just wanted you to know that I am a happy author/poet, yet sensitive and emotional. For as long as I will exist, I will do my best in everything I do. Books will forever force me to take risks that in the end I'm positive I will not regret. The readers take similar risks when they purchase the books. Entertainment is what they invest in. My duty is to satisfy them.
