The Midnight Special: Bishop is on Kindle Unlimited & The Island is Free
Hey everyone! I have some news to share. In the last week, I got a few things accomplished.
First of all, The Midnight Special: Bishop has been revised and has been enrolled into Kindle Unlimited. So if you if you are a member, then you can read it for free. What is it about? I'll post the synopsis below:
"Life in a traveling side show can be complicated one. Especially when every member has some sort of supernatural baggage. At a stop in a North Dakota town, mind reader Bishop finds that death is near when a close one passes away. In a desperate attempt to live on, he ventures into a dangerous vampire bar for a cure."
This short is available in ebook @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C7YN9S6
Free on Kindle Unlimited and $.99 for Purchase.
Second, the audio story project is back in progress. I have found a new software that allows me to get the audio into MP4 again. And now it is picking up right where it left off a few weeks ago. You can listen to The Last Witch: The Broken Princess Part 4 @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGzHD....
And remember if you like these things, there are a few ways to support:
1) By making a small donation thru Patreon @ https://www.patreon.com/user?u=10411921
2) By Purchasing the ebook version @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YK6CYGT
3) Or if you are a Unlimited Member, download the title and flip through the pages. There is pay for every page read according Amazon's algorithm and every little bit helps.
Then lastly, I'm deciding to continue the free book promotions. This week from June 9th to June 13th, the scifi story, The Island is going to be free. I will post the synopsis down below.
"In the middle of the second world war, scientists start vanishing all over the world. When Lily's husband is snatched away, she teams up with her brother in law to unravel what is happening to all the world's geniuses. After a year of traveling the world looking for clues, they are led to a mystery island in the eye of a never ending storm. A place that holds more danger than they ever expected."
From June 9th to June 13th this tale will be free @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014VXB4MY
And that is all that I have for this week. I hope there is something you might enjoy here. And I hope to have more fun stuff to share in the next few weeks. Have a good week everyone!

Socks & Fluffle Puffs is Free for a Short Time Starting Tuesday!
Hey there everyone. Just wanted to post some updates. Not a lot big stuff to announce. Just more of the same. Some more audio story stuff and another promotion. New stuff is still a ways off at the moment. The final edits is taking way longer than I expected. But let's get started with the stuff for this week.
First of all, the free short story promotion returns. This time around, I decided to have it on the short story Socks and Fluffle Puffs. Its light hearted cute little read, which might be a nice little distraction to the craziness of the world right now. I will post the synopsis down below.
"The socks are hideous. They are striped purple and green, stained, and have at least a dozen holes that have been repaired over the months. But seven year old Lori loves them. She's obsessed with them. One day her mother is able to wrangle them from the little girl to have them washed. But Lori is shocked when they vanish in the dryer. She climbs into the dryer to find clues left behind by the sock thieves, but tumbles out the other side into another world. It is a world of lost socks and ferocious Fluffle Puffs."
This short will be free from June 30th to July 4th. Its available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RPLH1WP
Also in the last couple of weeks part 6 and 7 were posted on Youtube. The link to the most recent one will be posted down below.
The Broken Princess Part 7 can be found at https://youtu.be/MfnLdSACMng

Free Short Story Promotions Are Continuing Thru the Summer
Hello there everyone! I wanted to update you all about what is going on.
First off, I am slowly working my way through polishing the final draft of the dark fantasy Once Upon a Time in Boston. And I am also revising an old silly spy story Sam & Miguel’s Run and a horror book Palm’s Inn for Kindle Unlimited enrollment. And all of this will be done when it’s done. Right now, I am working on all of this book stuff when time allows. Life has been very busy lately.
But beyond that, I wanted to do something to help advertise my stuff. Last summer I did weekly free short story promotions, and over the course of those months I gave away 111 short stories total. And I thought, “Why not do that this year again?” It may help me get some reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. And also, I have to honest here. I don’t make any money with these things. I wish I made more than pocket change and could make a living off of storytelling. But there is no sign of that ever happening in the near future. So why not run a bunch of free story promos so that people can have a chance to read them? It certainly couldn’t hurt.
Last week, I ran a promotion on the dark fantasy tale, Alice: Winter’s Story. And I think I will continue the promotions for the Alice series over the next couple of weeks. This week, the free short story will be Alice: Stone’s Story. It’s about a different Alice set in the same dark Wonderland. I will post the synopsis down below.
Alice: Stone’s Story
Wonderland is broken, and every Alice who stumbles in is trapped in a nightmare world. Some Alices become fighters. Other becomes con artists scrapping by. Alice Stone is a coward. An ex card soldier for the Red Queen, who is running from her captures hoping to find somewhere safe. But when she reaches Diamond City, the last free city of Wonderland, she will have to find her courage to survive.
This story will be FREE on Kindle from May 26th to May 30th. You can find it at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0776MR6CC
And that is what I have to share this week. I hope you enjoy this news. And I hope you all have a great week. I will be back blogging more soon.

The Horror Short Vanity Will Be Free Starting Wednesday
Hello there. It’s another week of updates and giveaways. Well mostly a free book giveaway more than a round of updates. That is because this week has been a weird one. From Tuesday on, life of a roller coaster with some surprises I really could have did without, and a good chunk of the week featured a record breaking heat wave that could murder my computer because of my lack of air condition. So book wise, I did not get a lot done other than scribbling a few ideas in a notebook here and there when I had a spare few minutes.
With all of that, least to say progress on my current projects is minimal. Once Upon a Time in Boston is only a third of the way finished. But I really hope this upcoming week will be a little more relaxed, and I will get something finished or close to finished.
This week I am continuing the summer of free book promotions, and now that all the published Alice tales have taken part in the giveaways, I am switching gears to a spooky tale this week. This week the scary tale will be Vanity. I will post the synopsis and the link below.
Two siblings, Liz and Denny are on a long drive home from college. But when they take a short cut on the back roads through the woods, they have an unexpected accident. With the car damaged, they find themselves on foot walking through the woods. To their surprise, they stumble across an enormous mansion. Despite the oddity of it being there, they rush to the door in hopes to find warmth, shelter, and a working phone to call for help. Yet as they enter, the place is far from welcoming, and the secrets the residents hold may kill the two of them before the night is over
This short story will be FREE from June 9th to June 13th. You can download Kindle copy at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014VTP4QK
And that is what I have this week. I apologize that it is not a lot. I am really hoping to be able to pick up the pace and have more stuff to share soon. Have a great week everyone!

Another Free Short Story & Updates On The Works In Progress
Hello there everyone. I hope you are doing well. I’m back again with another blog. I have some updates and yet another book giveaway, but let’s get started.
So what’s going on? Well this past week has been insane and I have been super busy. If you been following this blog a while you know I work in environmental science and geology, and jobs had been far and few between since the pandemic happened. But this week there was an avalanche of job opportunities and I was running back and forth to so many interviews and meetings. I had six interviews, and then family stuff on Friday so it was absolute chaos. And the chaos bothered me, because I could not work on any book stuff until Saturday.
Saturday was a free day. So at noon I sat down at my desk with some ice tea and started working on finalizing more of Once Upon of Time in Boston. It is really bugging me how long it is taking to get this out. I never had a short story / novella go through so many rewrites, expansions, and just take so long to get out there before this one. So I spent most of the day just working my way through polishing the final draft to perfection. And right now I am proud to say I am 75% done. And hopefully if I get a little bit of free time this upcoming week, it can finished as soon as next week. Which is exciting. I really want to get this out there for people to read.
And then there is the summer book giveaway.
I think, for the sake of father’s day, I will put an alien invasion tale on promotion this week. Why? My own dad loved aliens. I don’t think there was a genre he loved more than scifi alien tales. And he can’t be the only one. I’m sure there’s a lot more dads into the same stuff. So this week the free short story is On The Air with Mike Gypsy & Sacheana Crow. I’ll post the synopsis below.
The day started just as normal as any other for both Mike and Sacheana. The two start the day at their daily jobs as hosts of the radio show "On the Air." Things soon become strange when callers start asking about odd lights and monsters in the sky. Baffled by what they are hearing, the hosts piece together what's going on. But they have no idea of what they are about to confront what is right outside their door.
This short story will be FREE from June 16th to June 20th. Claim your Kindle copy @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014VWCCH6
And that is what I have to share this week. I think there is going to be some real fun stuff soon. But no guarantees. Life can turn into complete chaos sometimes, like it did last week. And that can slow things down quite a bit. I hope you all have a good week!

Final Draft of Once Upon a Time in Boston is Done & The Free Short Story For This Week
Hi there everyone! It’s time for another round of updates. And there are actually some real updates this week. So let’s get started.
First off, I have a huge update on Once Upon a Time in Boston. It’s done. The final draft is completed. All of the editing is complete. What’s left to do is now is formatting and polishing up the cover art. Then this weird dark fantasy tale about a boy and cursed girl trying to save a wintery sad world from a race of raven monsters will arrive sometime in the near future. This project has went through so many drafts and expansions that it took very long time to get to this state. So it’s just great to get the finish line. Now I hope to get it to all of you soon.
Beyond that what is happening next? I still am revising Sam & Miguel’s Run and Palm’s Inn in the background so they can be enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. Then, I still intend the next project to be Siren on Berry Avenue. It’s a very YA urban fantasy. For me it’s the perfect project to work on after working so long on tale that has so many themes of melancholy in it. I hope when I share it with the Scribophile writing community, it will get warm reception. If it does, that will be the main project in the near future.
And the summer short story giveaways are continuing. This week, I think I’ll share a fantasy story, My Name Is. I’ll post the synopsis down below.
My name is Amber. I don't remember much else because I've been forgetting so much lately. But I do remember I am a girl and this old witch has turned me into a crow. And I know I must find a way to break this curse before I forget everything entirely.
This short story will be FREE from June 23rd to June 27th. You can claim your ebook copy at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KSRUTCS .
And that is what I have for this week. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Ordinary World is Free This Week
Hi there, everyone. It’s another week and there are some more updates. So let’s get started.
First off, I have been working on finalizing Once Upon a Time and it’s coming together fine. The cover needs a tiny bit of polishing, but it is done. I hope to get it out soon. Maybe after the fourth of July. I rather not release a short story around a national holiday. It’s not the smartest thing to as indie author who is still relatively unknown. So that is the expected release window.
Beyond that, there is another free short story this week. This time it is a scifi fantasy called Ordinary World. I will post the synopsis below.
Mya and Malcom have a very unique profession. They dive in and out of heads of various clients to remove phobias and mental illnesses. But when they attempt to pull off a tough job, Malcom's consciousness becomes trapped inside the mind of a mental patient and Mya has no idea of how to get her husband back. It seemed hopeless and he was destined to waste away in someone else's head. Then a rich man shows up on her door step. He claims he has a way to save her husband and will do so, if she will help cure his granddaughter
This tale will be free from June 30th to July 4th. Grab your FREE copy at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GS44H1J
And that is all that I have for this week. I hope you enjoy what is offered this week, and I hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend. And if you don’t live in the United States, I hope you have a great week anyways. I will be back to blog more next week and hopefully will have more to share soon. Bye everyone!

A Ghost Story is Free This Week!
Hello everyone! It has been an interesting week. As someone who lives in a top floor apartment with no air conditioning I had to take refuge in the crazy triple digit heat wave that hit the Pacific Northwest. I was staying away from home all week. I did take my computer with me, and did a little bit a work. But this week involved a bunch of interviews, errands, and then there was a holiday. So I did not get as much done as I wanted. But I did get a little something done.
Once Upon a Time in Boston is set up for a Kindle release. I am ready to release it next week. I am hoping to do a free promotion on the week on release, if KDP will let me do that. Also, the Siren on Berry Ave rough draft had its first round of edits. I need to make it all pretty now for Scribophile. And that is all I really have to report.
But I am continuing the free short story promotions. This week, it is a spooky tale about a haunted retail store called Late Shift at Pennies. So if it sounds like your thing please take a look or grab a free copy. The last couple of weeks no one took advantage of the free stories. But they were also lighter fantasies, so maybe everyone is waiting for the darker stuff to return. And if that was the issue, it’s the return of darker material this week. I’ll post the synopsis below.
It is no mystery that the Pennies retail story is haunted. Ghosts act as pests for all employees of the store. Their harmless activity tends to intensify toward midnight which is known to most as witching hour. People have grown used to the ghosts and accepted them as another common everyday thing. But an unlucky Pennies employee named Ian is about to discover the ghost's true motives.
This short story will be free from July 7th to July 11th. You can grab it at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C7X0IKY.
And that is what I have for this week. I apologize for not having more. I have been very busy lately but I promise new stuff is coming. I’ll be blogging the new news soon.

Once Upon A Time in Boston is Finally Out & Will Be Free This Week!
Hello there. It’s been another week and there is another round of updates, and there are a few fun ones today. So let’s get started.
First of all, Once Upon a Time in Boston is done. Finally Reggi’s and Tai’s strange dark odyssey is complete and will be out this week. It has just been uploaded to KDP and should be on the Amazon store front soon. And it’s great to put to get it out there. This tale has went through so many drafts and revisions. It has been expanded so much since the first short story draft. Now I can say it’s done officially and everyone will have a chance to read this strange dark fantasy novella on their Kindles. I really hope those who read it will enjoy the weird dark tale featuring the undead, bird monsters, an eternal winter, and a desperate attempt to fix a broken world.
Beyond that, I have made progress with my next work in progress. I am pretty much set on making The Siren on Berry Ave, my next official project. Sure. I should maybe return to a much shorter horror called Nowhere and work on that. It’s closer to done. But Once Upon a Time in Boston, takes place in a tragic and sad world. And even though it does end up having a happy ending of sorts, I spent six months working on something that dealt with heavy dark themes. So for me, I need this change of pace. Siren on Berry Ave is about a half siren moving in with her adoptive family. It has teenage drama with a side of monsters. It’s not too heavy. And just a couple days ago, I submitted my first draft to Scribophile to see what some beta readers are going to say about. I really do hope the reviews are good. It’s a very simple tale. It shouldn’t demand all the work that Boston did in the last few months. Also if you are a member of the Scribophile writing community, feel free to find my account and take a look at rough draft. Maybe you’ll like it.
And of course the summer of free book deals are still continuing. And this week, the free story is Once Upon a Time in Boston. I know it seems premature for any sort of promotion for this. But I really like the idea of getting this into a lot of hands on release week, so you all can have a chance to read it at no cost, and possibly some of you will leave some friendly reviews. I will post the synopsis below.
The world broke decades ago. An eternal winter has engulfed the Earth. The dead no longer pass on, becoming souls trapped in decaying bodies. Humanoid feathered creatures known as Ravens come to collect the souls to escort them to the mysterious council to move on to the afterlife. Many people have come to believe the Ravens are angels; doing God's work until the cosmos are fixed.
Tai is a teenager who learns this is a lie. The Ravens are doing something nefarious with the souls, and those who die are not moving on after death. Angry and frustrated with the recent loss of a loved one, Tai does something rash. He decides he will try to stop the Ravens. He will try to fix the world, and overthrow this mysterious council. But he's not doing it alone. He has found the aid of a Raven who holds a grudge against the council as well.
You can grab your free Kindle copy of this dark fantasy from July 14th to July 18th. It is available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09947RR69.
And that is what I have this week. It was a lot more exciting than usual, and there was actually a new release this week. I hope you all enjoy the new story and have a great week!
