The Broken Princess is Out Now!

Hey everyone, it's time for another round of updates. And let's start with the big one, the fourth short story in The Last Witch Series, The Broken Princess, is now released in ebook form. I will post all the details down below.

While Fran and Brian travel through the mountain pass, the cold gets the better of them. Brian's father falls ill, and is soon knocking on death's door. That is until a knight shows up out of nowhere. The knight claims he's from kingdom close by. He sees that Brian is a witch, and makes him an offer. They will save his father, if Brian can save the princess. Brian is hesitant, but accepts the offer. Once welcomed into the castle Brian learns of the princess, who has the strangest illness he had seen. She is frozen to the bone. Her presence chills the air around her. Frost clings to her ghostly white skin. He's told she has demon inside of her and needs an exorcism. But to Brian, too many things don't add up.

It is available for purchase for $0.99 as an ebook Amazon
and is free with Kindle Unlimited.

It can be found  @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YK6CYGT

Also the first part of a new audio story is posted. This time its the cute little fantasy called Socks & Fluffle Puffs. The link is down below.

Socks & Fluffle Puffs Part 1: https://youtu.be/WJW-VolLUw0

And remember if you enjoy this, you can support two ways. You can:
- Go to the ebook page @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RPLH1WP and purchase the ebook version, or flip through the Kindle Unlimited version (That helps as well).
-Or go to the patreon page for Project Stories @ https://www.patreon.com/user?u=10411921 and make a donation. I'm not asking you to subscibe to anything monthly like the Patreon model suggests. A one time donation to show your support is fine.

Beyond that my focus is on the final tale in The Last Witch Series, The Abyss. It still needs a cover sketched out and then brought into photoshop for finalizing. The actual story needs a final review, which I am about to begin soon. The story is shorter, around the length of Old Hobbs, so it shouldn't take nearly as long as The Broken Princess.  It's my goal to get this out before the end of the year.

Also the short In the Land of Gods is partially recorded into audio form, with my read out loud review process. It's fairly short, so that should be soon.

But after those two things, what is next? I have a half edited book that has been abandoned sometime back in 2015 because of college, called Finding Elodie. I want to get back involved in Scribophile writing community and workshop to get the rest of that cleaned up. I think that will be my new main focus, with a short story or possible side project here there to break up the tedium of working on one project all the time.

And that is all I have to share this week. If I have more stuff to share next week, I will be posting again. I hope you have a great week everyone!

Socks & Fluffle Puffs is Free for a Short Time Starting Tuesday!

Hey there everyone. Just wanted to post some updates. Not a lot big stuff to announce. Just more of the same. Some more audio story stuff and another promotion. New stuff is still a ways off at the moment. The final edits is taking way longer than I expected. But let's get started with the stuff for this week.

First of all, the free short story promotion returns. This time around, I decided to have it on the short story Socks and Fluffle Puffs. Its light hearted cute little read, which might be a nice little distraction to the craziness of the world right now. I will post the synopsis down below.

"The socks are hideous. They are striped purple and green, stained, and have at least a dozen holes that have been repaired over the months. But seven year old Lori loves them. She's obsessed with them. One day her mother is able to wrangle them from the little girl to have them washed. But Lori is shocked when they vanish in the dryer. She climbs into the dryer to find clues left behind by the sock thieves, but tumbles out the other side into another world. It is a world of lost socks and ferocious Fluffle Puffs."

This short will be free from June 30th to July 4th. Its available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RPLH1WP

Also in the last couple of weeks part 6 and 7 were posted on Youtube. The link to the most recent one will be posted down below.

The Broken Princess Part 7 can be found at https://youtu.be/MfnLdSACMng

And remember if you like these things, there are a few ways to support:

1) By making a small donation thru Patreon @ https://www.patreon.com/user?u=10411921

2) By Purchasing the ebook version @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YK6CYGT

3) Or if you are a Unlimited Member, download the title and flip through the pages.

There is pay for every page read according Amazon's algorithm and every little bit helps.

And that is all that I have to say this week. I'll post again when I have more to share! Have a good week everyone!

Flying Pigs & Witches is Going on Sale

Hey there everyone. The heat wave has passed through the pacific northwest. My place is no longer an oven. My computer does not feel like its going to catch on fire. And being still unemployed, I am back at work on my book projects hoping I can make some cash until I'm able to snag a job. I haven't too successful so far, but I am really trying and that must be worth something.

So what do I have to share? I am currently working on a getting a new short story collection out. I finally revised enough of short stories to package together in a collection that is going to be called Meteors & Monsters. But I still need to format it and finalize the cover at the moment. So until then, I wanted to run an promotion on the first short story collection, Flying Pigs & Witches for $0.99. I will post the synopsis down below.

A woman finds a fallen science utopia carries dark secrets as she searches for her husband. A gun slinging Alice is looking for a way out of a dark Wonderland. A cashier must take the late shift in a haunted retail store. Siblings encounter an evil witch in the woods. A teenager learns his uncle is a wizard. A little girl races into another world to get back her favorite socks. A runaway becomes cursed and must find a way to stop it before she loses all her memory. An isolated teen falls in love with a odd girl who fears water. This is a collection of eight short stories that stretch across the genres horror, fantasy, and science fiction.

This collection includes:

-The Island

-Late Shift at Pennies

-Socks and Fluffle Puffs

-Somewhere Beyond the Sea

-My Name Is...

-Alice: Winter's Story

-Secrets of Charles Mahogany

-Vanity

The Kindle ebook is for sale for $.99 from August 4th to August 9th. It is also free if you are a Kindle Unlimited number. You can purchase and download at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KREO7C0

Beyond that the audio story project is continuing. This week it is on third part of The Abyss. The post is posted down below.

And remember if you like these things, there are a few ways to support:

1) By making a small donation thru Patreon @ https://www.patreon.com/user?u=10411921

2) By Purchasing the ebook version @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZN72RQQ

3) Or if you are a Unlimited Member, download the title and flip through the pages. There is pay for every page read according to Amazon's algorithm and every little bit helps.

And that is what I have this week. I will try to get Meteors and Monsters out next week. But I am kinda on call for freelance geologist for wild fire sites, and if I get a call everything will be on hold for a couple weeks. I have to take it to make some money, because there is not much else out there now. I hope anyone following this blog understands that. And with that said, I hope everyone has a good week. Please stay safe out there.

Nightmares & Dragonflies is Now Published.

Hey everyone! It’s time for another round of updates and I actually had some fun stuff to share this week. What is it? Well it’s the fact that a new anthology is published in ebook form. It’s called Nightmares & Dragonflies. It’s a collection of the last of the old short stories alongside a couple new ones. It will be the last one for a long while. I will need to have at least eight works to have for a new anthology. And I’m a little slow at getting new stories out there to have a collection any time soon. I will post the synopsis down below.

Mya is a dreamwalker and must take one more job her husband's soul. A teenager with super powers must journey through the frozen Alaskan darkness to save his sister. A young nurse learns her boyfriend is a vampire. Texas cop Trudy Dallas has the job of hunting zombies. A scientist dares to tear apart the fabric of the universe to return home. Two journalists rush into a city as it is being attacked by giant dragonflies to get the story of the lifetime. A traveling freak show must stop the apocalypse. A girl must save her friend after he is magically pulled into a book. Its collection of short stories stretching across all genres.

This collection of eight short stories includes:
- Ordinary World
- The Tall Man
- The Emergency Patient
- Trudy Dallas & the Walking Dead
- Alice: Khoza's Tale
- June Bug Vs The Dragonflies
- The Midnight Special: To Hell & Back
- Into the West

This ebook is $3.99 or FREE on Kindle Unlimited, Check it out @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XB783LP

Beyond that, the revision of Nel & the Tower of Spirits is making some progress. I’m a third of the way through. So hopefully in a month’s time, the tale will be completely revised and the new cleaner version will be enrolled into Kindle Unlimited.

And that is all I have to say share for this week. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer and I hope you all have a great week!

Free Short Story Promotions Are Continuing Thru the Summer

Hello there everyone! I wanted to update you all about what is going on.

First off, I am slowly working my way through polishing the final draft of the dark fantasy Once Upon a Time in Boston. And I am also revising an old silly spy story Sam & Miguel’s Run and a horror book Palm’s Inn for Kindle Unlimited enrollment. And all of this will be done when it’s done. Right now, I am working on all of this book stuff when time allows. Life has been very busy lately.

But beyond that, I wanted to do something to help advertise my stuff. Last summer I did weekly free short story promotions, and over the course of those months I gave away 111 short stories total. And I thought, “Why not do that this year again?” It may help me get some reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. And also, I have to honest here. I don’t make any money with these things. I wish I made more than pocket change and could make a living off of storytelling. But there is no sign of that ever happening in the near future. So why not run a bunch of free story promos so that people can have a chance to read them? It certainly couldn’t hurt.

Last week, I ran a promotion on the dark fantasy tale, Alice: Winter’s Story. And I think I will continue the promotions for the Alice series over the next couple of weeks. This week, the free short story will be Alice: Stone’s Story. It’s about a different Alice set in the same dark Wonderland. I will post the synopsis down below.

Alice: Stone’s Story
Wonderland is broken, and every Alice who stumbles in is trapped in a nightmare world. Some Alices become fighters. Other becomes con artists scrapping by. Alice Stone is a coward. An ex card soldier for the Red Queen, who is running from her captures hoping to find somewhere safe. But when she reaches Diamond City, the last free city of Wonderland, she will have to find her courage to survive.

This story will be FREE on Kindle from May 26th to May 30th. You can find it at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0776MR6CC

And that is what I have to share this week. I hope you enjoy this news. And I hope you all have a great week. I will be back blogging more soon.

Another Free Alice Story & Updates

Hello there again. Seems like I have finally returned to the weekly update blog schedule.
And what do I have to share this week?
I hoped to have more updates on the progress of Once Upon a Time in Boston, but I really don’t. I was very busy for the first part of this week. Then power went out on a stormy Tuesday night, and I started writing down a story in a notebook to kill time in the dark. It’s a fantastical scifi tale about a rich kid trying to run away from his crazy family on Mars and having to deal with this aliens, betrayals, and a possible war. It’s something that was real fun to write, and for much of the week when time allowed, I continued to work on that instead of Once Upon a Time in Boston. I was afraid if I didn’t stick with it and draft out some ideas, then the concept may be lost as I shift my focus back to other things. So that was my week. I am getting back on track now though. I dove back into editing Boston again last night and the editing will continue from here on out. I promise. I am scatterbrained when it comes to working on all this, and sometimes things just derail from time to time. But projects do get finished strangely enough, so it’s definitely is coming.

But it is not all disappointment, because the free story giveaways are continuing. This week is another Alice short story. This one follows an African scientist who is willing to tear apart the fabric of the space time continuum to get back home. I’ll post the complete synopsis below.

Before stumbling into Wonderland, Alice Khoza was a brilliant scientist. Now she's an outcast trying to find a way back home and to her loving husband. But after spending so long tinkering and inventing in this new world of non-sense, she thinks she has found a way home. It won't be easy though. Alice will have to steal a trident from a notorious evil clan of Hatters and use it to channel magic in the far north to rip a hole in between the worlds of Wonderland and Earth. The probability of making it back home is low, but Alice is going to give it her best go.

This is a short story will be free on Kindle from June 2nd to June 6th. Grab your copy at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QM5SG5M

And that this what I have for this week. I really hope to have more exciting stuff to share soon. I hope you all have a great week, and if you live in the United States, have a great memorial day!

Ordinary World is Free This Week

Hi there, everyone. It’s another week and there are some more updates. So let’s get started.

First off, I have been working on finalizing Once Upon a Time and it’s coming together fine. The cover needs a tiny bit of polishing, but it is done. I hope to get it out soon. Maybe after the fourth of July. I rather not release a short story around a national holiday. It’s not the smartest thing to as indie author who is still relatively unknown. So that is the expected release window.

Beyond that, there is another free short story this week. This time it is a scifi fantasy called Ordinary World. I will post the synopsis below.

Mya and Malcom have a very unique profession. They dive in and out of heads of various clients to remove phobias and mental illnesses. But when they attempt to pull off a tough job, Malcom's consciousness becomes trapped inside the mind of a mental patient and Mya has no idea of how to get her husband back. It seemed hopeless and he was destined to waste away in someone else's head. Then a rich man shows up on her door step. He claims he has a way to save her husband and will do so, if she will help cure his granddaughter

This tale will be free from June 30th to July 4th. Grab your FREE copy at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GS44H1J

And that is all that I have for this week. I hope you enjoy what is offered this week, and I hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend. And if you don’t live in the United States, I hope you have a great week anyways. I will be back to blog more next week and hopefully will have more to share soon. Bye everyone!
