A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Gretchen wrote her Master's thesis on zombies. Technically, that makes her a professional zombologist. Remarkably, there isn't much work out there for a zombologist (yet!), so in the meantime, she writes. And writes. And writes. Sometimes, she even gets to write about zombies, so it all works out in the end.

Gretchen writes a mixture of paranormal romance, facebook status updates, and anything ending in the word punk (cyberpunk being her newest favorite). She has an unhealthy obsession with zombies, John Wayne movies, Marvel comic books, and avgolemono soup. She lives in Nashville with her extremely patient husband, completely impatient son, and two cats who may be plotting her demise.

I have several novels that I'll be editing this summer, so those are on my schedule (I can't disclose which titles), but as for the strictly "for fun" reads I don't tend to plan too far in advance. I generally go with whatever grabs my interest in the moment. I am on a fairy tale kick right now, so probably something in that genre. Who doesn't love a good fairy tale retelling? I'm also reading up on Egyptian history at the moment, because I'm working on a novel that's partially set in the Middle Kingdom era. (less)

Of Supernatural (*Shake, Shake*)

Do you love Supernatural? How about Taylor Swift? Parodies? All of the above?

Okay, so I wouldn't say I *love* Taylor Swift, but her music is damn catchy, and I do adore Supernatural and parodies, so this is officially my favorite thing of the week! Behold, The Hillywood Show presents "Supernatural".

And the fact that a good portion of the cast shows up to participate? Perfection! Not to mention the Read more of this blog post »
