Lilliet writes about what she has lived and learned herself from growing up as an Army brat, to being an Army (Colonel) Chaplain's wife for 30 years, and a believer for over 43 years. She spent many years in leadership, teaching, and speaking. Now she's focused on writing what God has taught her. Lilliet is a Christian personal-success life coach, and has been trained in leadership, communication skills, facilitating, temperament assessment, spiritual gifts, and Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Lilliet's passion is to share the gospel of Christ to all who will hear. God has a wonderful plan for our life, but we must believe He exists and turn our life over to Him, to see that wonderful plan unfold. As a solution-focused,

That usually comes to those who write fictional story lines.Since my books are taken from subjects in the Bible, I don't think I'll lack for material for the rest of my life. All I need to do is look in our vast library at home (my husband has a theology degree and was an Army Chaplain for 30 years) and I can find inspiration. Also the Holy Spirit usually impresses on my heart what topic to tackle next.(less)

“Intimacy with God happens not by chance but by choice. It demands that we pursue God passionately by removing from our lives the things that hinder our relationship with Him. Even the good things we do can become the enemy of the best.”
Lilliet Garrison, How to Develop an Intimate Relationship with God

“God provides for our complete transformation when we accept Jesus as Savior. This transformation often takes a life time to achieve, still we’re to be moving continually and intently towards this goal. “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed (metamorphoo) by the renewing of your minds.” (Romans 12:2) This transformation is a “metamorphosis,” as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Scripture uses different images to express the change that occurs in all true believers: We become “a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). We’re “made new in the attitude of your minds” (Ephesians 4:23). We “put off your old self” and “put on the new self” (Ephesians 4:22, 24; Colossians 3:9-10). We “live by the Spirit” and not by the flesh (Galatians 5:16; Romans 8:13). We become “instruments of righteousness” rather than “instruments of wickedness” (Romans 6:13). We have “been set free from sin and have become slaves to God” (Romans 6:22).”
Lilliet Garrison, Getting Unstuck: Moving Beyond What's Holding You Back

“We can’t change the fruit without changing the root. Every time we try to change ourselves, it doesn’t last.”
Lilliet Garrison, Getting Unstuck: Moving Beyond What's Holding You Back
