There wasn't an incident as such, but I was blown away by the Valley of the Kings. It is so - I hesitate to use the word 'desolate', but it is a world on its own. The Valley is unique and mysterious and yet quite peaceful. When I was trying to decide what to write, my visit to Egypt made me think that this was the perfect country in which to set a mystery. This week's Guest Author

My guest author is Irene Fantopoulos, a multi-genre writer with a passion for crime and mystery. I last interviewed Irene in 2024 and I’m delighted that she has returned to tell us about her latest book, Murders at Deer Park. Irene’s three earlier novels, All the Evil Scatters, Luck of the Draw, and Burden of Proof have been complemented by several published short stories and essays.
