Dave Rader was born in Collinsville, Oklahoma, and raised in the small town of Wakita. From an early age, he felt called to help others—a passion that shaped his career in customer service and his years of volunteer work at his local church. That heart for serving naturally led him into writing, beginning with a social media Bible devotional and growing into a passion for sharing encouragement, faith, and practical wisdom with readers. Today, as an author, Dave continues that mission through books that inspire spiritual growth, offer hope, and strengthen faith. He writes with the desire that every page will encourage, challenge, and uplift those who read his work.

“I am not perfect, no, I step in shit all the time. and I recognize it when I do. I’ve just learned to scrape it off my boots and carry on. Because we all step in shit from time to time. We hit roadblocks, we fucked up, we get fucked, we get sick, we don’t get what we want, we cross thousands of could’ve done better’s and wish that wouldn’t have happens in life. Stepping in shit is inevitable. So let’s see it as good luck or figure out how to do it less often.”
Matthew McConaughey, Greenlights
