Moni Stanila s-a nascut in Tomesti, judetul Timis, in 1978. A studiat teologia ortodoxa la Timisoara si Sibiu. Din 2010 traieste la Chisinau, unde lucreaza in presa ca editorialist la cel mai citit ziar de limba romana, Timpul de dimineata, si conduce cenaclul literar Republica al Bibliotecii Nationale a Republicii Moldova.

A publicat jurnalul de convertire Iconostas (Graphe, 2007), volumele de poezie Postoi parovoz. Confesiunile dogmatistei (Ninpress-Charmides, 2009) si Sagarmatha (Tracus Arte, 2012) si romanul Al 4-lea (Tracus Arte, 2013). Ambele volume de poezie au primit la Salonul International de Carte din Chisinau premiul Ministerului Culturii din Republica Moldova (2011, 2013).
