I live in northeast Ohio where I write sci-fi, fantasy, and suspense novels, along with a few short stories. Mostly I write stories I think I'd like to read with characters that are interesting enough that readers want to find out what happens to them. I also spend time building a Japanese strolling garden in the back yard, and taking walks in the woods. I have nine novels in print, the most recent being "Broken Albatross," the third in the Galiwee Visions series, plus a collection of short stories, and a co-authored children’s book. A brand new fantasy trilogy is in the works and should see the first book coming out in 2025. I love hearing back from readers so please feel free to send me your thoughts. ...more

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the question. No epiphany. I have been interested in possible psychic abilities that might be hidden in the human mind and wondered what might happen if someone developed a way to enhance them beyond any normal expectations. Slowly that central idea grew into a novel with the central character driven to do something rash that led to lots of problems for him and those around him. Change is hard to accept for most people and this was change on a cosmic scale so the problems grew in proportion. As for the title, the book went through several working titles before I settled on Foxworth Terminus and that came about because Reggie Foxworth is the character who is changed and Terminus because what he's done will end civilization as we know it. I'm working on a sequel titled Foxworth Continuum the goes into the new order. (less)

As you might expect there is some violence within the story but nothing that isn't in movies or TV shows they are watching and perhaps less than many other popular Young Adult books. (less)

Selecting the Best Titles is Important

Took two days for a quick trip to Michigan and now back working on the next fantasy trilogy. One book through editing, one book partially through editing and one book a long way from seeing the editor. But, as my editor reminded me, I need titles for the three books and for the new series. I haven’t got any of that figured out so in addition to writing the books, I’m going to be brainstorming for Read more of this blog post »

J. and 1 other person liked Ron's review of The Last Enforcer:
The Last Enforcer by Lexi Revellian
"First in what I hope is a new series, set in an intriguing postapocalyptic world of city-states. Great world building and the story had an almost Dickensian/Victorian mood. Looking forward to sequels. "
A Gift of Life by Henry Denker
"Finally I found the time to read one of the unread books I've owned for 20+ years. I therefore chose carefully and I am so pleased I chose this one. Absorbing, thought-provoking and well worth ignoring everything else I should have been doing. Highly" Read more of this review »

Discovery by Louise McLaughlin
"Cassie discovers she’s a Whisperer and gets involved with gods and witches to prevent the return of aliens who want to enslave everyone and take over earth for the minerals. I found the beginning clever and entertaining. But soon I was wondering why " Read more of this review »
