“Signs & Wonders” offers a gripping look at how religious belief and personal identity can come into conflict within tight-knit Southern communities. While it touches on themes of religious nationalism and friendship, its real strength lies in its portrayal of one woman trying to navigate her spirituality amid the pressure from her church and her marriage. It’s a thoughtful, absorbing read for fans of books like “The Dearly Beloved”, “God Spare the Girls”, or “The Book of Essie” and anyone interested in cult dynamics. --BookShelfie

The real answer is that sometimes writer's block means I need to go do something else while my brain works through the block. By writing every day, I keep a rhythm going, and give my brain something to chew on in the background. Reading other people's books is good, too, as I can see what they do really well and sometimes that will put me back in motion.(less)

I originally planned for this to be the last book in the series, but the characters and story line refused to cooperate with that plan. If you've read the first two books and are interested on becoming a beta reader, contact me here or sign up for my mailing list at www.angelicrodgers.com or www.oliviachronicles.com for updates.

What I can tell you is that book 3 follows the same time line as Brigitte's Cross but on different characters. So, while book 2 focuses almost entirely on Liz's experience of that time frame, book 3 focuses on other characters--some that you may have assumed were never going to be heard from again, actually.(less)

Exclusivity and Upcoming Books

I'm nearing completion of my new novel, Elegant Freefall, which will be available for summer poolside reading.  This novel is far more contemporary women's fiction, as there are no vampires, no voudou mambos, no reincarnation.

Just one woman trying to figure herself out and several people around her doing the same. There is some backstabbing, some romance, some conflict with exes, family drama.
