I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. I was born and raised in this region, unlike most other citizens of the Bay Area who are from another state or another country. I am a veteran of the punk/metal/new wave/oh-my-God-what-did-we-do-last-night club scenes of the San Francisco Bay Area in the Eighties and the early Nineties. I run marathons, I write novels, I meow back at cats and say hi to strange dogs that I meet. I am also a web applications engineer and a dedicated worker bee for the Oakland Athletics.

Crash Shadow ended on a cliffhanger, and I am duty bound to write a sequel.

I am also working on a rewrite of a play I drafted several years ago called Room for Cream, which features characters from my novels.(less)

Miranda’s First Girlfriend – An Excerpt from my novel Blood, Skin, and Ink

This is an excerpt from my novel Blood, Skin, and Ink.

This excerpt is a flashback to her early days in San Francisco. In her early years as a teenage runaway, she would shack up with various people in order to get places to stay, usually with unscrupulous men who were too chaotic to stay with for very long.
