What I think about most of the time is: "how to be happy, friendly, reasonably prosperous and a good coach.” These thoughts drive my reading and my writing.

I found that the quality of my life improved when I set my life purpose to: "help other people to find meaning, happiness and prosperity."

I try my best to ensure that you will be wiser and a little happier and that your life will be enhanced by reading how to coach yourself to achieve what you want in my articles and books.

My style is to help you to make progress simply by showing you how to coach yourself to achieve what you want.

Everything you read in my books or learn on my courses is the result of the 25+ years I have spent coaching people in the UK, USA and India from whom I have l

Hi Amanda,

You are "shouting" when you generalise your writing i.e. you try to talk to a lot of people at the same time - as if you want the guy at the back of the hall to hear you.

Good writing is like a conversation with someone sitting with you in a confined space. You are sharing information with them, just as you would when talking to a friend in Starbucks.

Hope this helps,

Best,

But I don't worry about that because I figure it is just my brain sorting things out. This can sometimes take a day or two. But sooner or later I wake up in the morning bursting with things to write about.(less)

You Will Achieve Much More When Your Goals Matter to Your Heart

I read Viktor Frankl’s book Man’s Search For Meaning twice, but I didn’t get what “meaning” is until I found what I really care about.

What does it mean when you say something is “meaningful”?

I couldn’t get my head around the concept of an activity having “meaning”. And, why should it matter whether or not what I am doing has “meaning”? What difference can it pos

Hello Majenta,

I would like to thank you for your kind support on Goodreads.

Although I have been a member of Goodreads for some time I have not been active because I have been very busy with my coaching work and my writing. Over the past 25+ years I have coached over 1,000 people on issues like work/life balance, communication, confidence and leadership.

I am now doing less coaching and less writing and wish to focus on developing my profile and my group "Become What You Can Become" on Goodreads so that I can help other authors and coaches to achieve thier ambitions.

Not being very experienced on Goodreads it was a great boost to my morale and confidence when you so kindly befriended me, liked my blog post, my profile and some of my reviews. Generosity such as yours is of inestimable value to people starting out on a new journey.

If I can help you in any way please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best of everything,

David
