Transplanted from California and New Mexico, Bill Garwin now resides in Texas; his cherished cowboy hat is appropriate year-round.
He writes intelligent, character-driven thrillers where brilliant minds, dangerous people, and bad decisions collide.
Eight years of lacrosse, fifteen years of karate, and five years of fencing taught him lessons that can only be earned. Lessons freely shared throughout his works.
When you meet him, understand he enjoys nothing more than a conversation on a topic he has never before considered. He will, of course, opine with complete confidence.
He is the author of Chasing Madison and The Man Who Forgot to Remember.

Being a writer allows me to play with both. I have fun constructing the words, sentences and paragraphs. The technical aspect of writing. I'm very critical of everything I write and the writing of other authors. However, probably more important is the other aspect of writing: storytelling. I practice on anyone who will listen to me or read what I write. I've read many authors unskilled at word construction who succeed simply because they are wonderful storytellers.(less)
