[close] A place to discuss all the unique aspects of Deaf culture as highlighted in the thriller Silent Fear (A novel inspired by true crimes) by Lance & James Morcan. This group can also be an intersection of sorts where Deaf and hearing people can engage and learn from each other.

[close] This book club is for those who are interested in learning more about trauma, Complex/PTSD, scientific research, and the many different paths to healing. Books are chosen via a poll and the weekly reading load is agreed upon on the first meeting after selecting a new book. Meetings are held on a weekly basis via zoom. [close] Transpersonal psychology is concerned with the study of humanity's highest potential, and with the recognition, understanding, and realization of unitive and spiritual and transcendent states of consciousness. Here is a place for identifying and discussing the literature in, on, and around the topic, its roots, and its newest iterations, and to foster and grow a community for whom the topic resonates.

[close] Hi all - this group was created so that we future psychiatrists can stay in touch as we start our training across the country. The books we will discuss are not exclusively psychiatry-specific. We're trying to focus on the human condition and experience. As a reminder, we serve people at the margins; we can't do that unless we do the work to understand experiences we haven't had. All are welcome to join this community. Watch this space.
