Clayton Hollingsworth

Clayton Louis Hollingsworth is a recurring character in the 1985 NBC sitcom The Golden Girls. He is the youngest son of Curtis and Elizabeth Hollingsworth and the younger brother of Blanche Devereaux. Clayton is gay and spent the majority of his life in the closet, until he eventually came out to Blanche with Rose's help. He was married to an unnamed woman for several years, but this marriage was his attempt to deny his homosexuality until he couldn't hide it anymore. He is portrayed by Monte Markham.
Some time after his divorce, Clayton visited Blanche in Miami and became acquainted with her roommates. When Clayton tells Rose that he is gay, she tries to help him to tell Blanche -- however, Clayton chickens out at the last second and claims that he slept with Rose. Clayton eventually tells Blanche the truth after she becomes hostile towards Rose and she has difficulty accepting it until she realizes during a heart to heart that he is still the same baby brother she has so much in common with.
Years later, Clayton visits Miami with his boyfriend, a policeman named Doug. At first, Blanche doesn't understand their relationship, but she likes Doug. Clayton eventually tells Blanche that he wanted her to meet Doug, because they were getting married. Blanche has a difficult time with the news, and even makes a scene in a public place. Clayton tells her off for her behavior, and she (after a brief talk with Doug to ensure he'll be a loving partner to her baby brother) eventually accepts their decision to get married.

The Cast Ate A Ton Of Cheesecake

Cheesecake was the fifth roommate on The Golden Girls. The cast ate more than 100 of this sweet treat throughout the seven seasons. Local baker George Geary made many of these cakes. He had been working in the bakery of a Safeway grocery store when he was first tasked to bake a cake for the show. The women always sat at the kitchen table eating cheesecake while discussing their problems.
Despite how many cheesecakes they ate, not all of the actors were fans of the creamy treat. Turns out, however, Bea Arthur detested the dessert. Just shows what a good actress she is, we would have never guessed she hated cheesecake.
Please complete ONE of the following tasks:
1. Read a book that has a picture of a Cake on the cover (any cake does not have to be cheesecake)
2. Read a book that has both words “Cheese” and “Cake” in the text (words do not have to be together and please state page/location number and short passage)

George Devereaux

George Devereaux is a minor character in The Golden Girls. He is the deceased husband of Blanche Devereaux and the father of their five children, as well as the illegitimate father of David Patton.
George was mentioned numerous times throughout the show, but only made a physical appearance in Season 6's "Mrs. George Devereaux". He was portrayed by George Grizzard.
George Devereaux was presumably born in Mayflower County, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. Some years after, his younger brother Jamie was born.
For schooling, George went to law school and finished top of his class at Vanderbilt University, later becoming a lawyer. Sometime before the Korean War began, George started dating Blanche Hollingsworth and their relationship got serious before he joined the army and was sent to Korea. When he came back to America, George and Blanche got married after a Valentine's Day proposal.
Their first child was Rebecca Sue, followed by Janet, Biff, Matthew and Doug. In the late 1950s or early 1960's, the family moved to 6151 Richmond Street in Miami, Florida. They lived there as a happily married couple for several years.
While on a business trip to Dallas, Texas, George had an affair with a Ms. Patton, which resulted in the birth of David Patton. He gave his wife Blanche a pair of diamond earrings out of guilt and never told her about the affair or David.
In 1981, George was hit head-on by a drunk driver while on his way home from work. His wife Blanche is home alone when the police called her, and while she was running to answer it, she tripped over a pair of George's shoes and exclaimed that she hated him. When Blanche answered the phone, a policeman on the other line asked her if she was George's wife, and she is put her on hold for an hour. When the policeman comes back, he informs Blanche that he's the only one in the station and, as he eats Doritos, flippantly informed her that George was dead.
George makes his only physical appearance in "Mrs. George Devereaux", in which Blanche has another recurring dream about him. In the dream, Blanche receives various sizes of roses and a note from a secret admirer. She had read the note that this person wanted to meet her that afternoon and to make it easier, all the girls went with her. At the luncheon, the waiter came up to her and said that someone was waiting for her at the bar. He walked over to her and when she turned to face him, she realized that the man looked exactly like George.
After the luncheon, George followed the ladies back home to try and talk to Blanche about what had happened. According to George, his business partner had stolen money from the company they were working for and blamed George for it. In order to avoid being sent to prison, George faked his death and went into hiding for the next nine years. He came back to propose to Blanche again, but she refuses to hear him out and sent him away.
One evening, Blanche and George were talking in Blanche's bedroom, they talked and ended their conversation with a hug. Blanche then wakes up from the dream, and reveals that she had been having a recurring dream ever since George died -- George would return and say he faked his death, and the dream would end before Blanche got to hug him. This time, however, Blanche was finally able to hug George, likely symbolizing that she has finally moved on from her grief.

Earning its name from the characteristic vertical bars that cover the sides of its body, the Tiger Shark is the fourth largest shark and second largest predatory shark behind only the Great White Shark. They are aggressive predators, and famous for eating just about anything they find or can capture. Several Tiger Sharks have been known to eat garbage, including metal, plastic, wood, fishing gear, and other trash.

Also known as a striped catshark, this species can be found in the costal waters of South Africa. It is an abundant, bottom-dwelling species that makes its home in rocky reefs and kelp beds. While they are an opportunistic predator that feeds on a wide variety of fish and invertebrates, it favors cephalopods and frequents the spawning grounds of the chokka squid. When threatened, it curls into a circle with its tail covering its head.

When you flip a shark upside down they go into a trance-like state called tonic immobility. This is the reason why you often see saw sharks flipped over when scientists are working on them in the water.

28. Silky Shark

Named for the silky look of its skin, the Silky Shark tends to be long and slender, with a slightly shorter dorsal fin and elongated pectoral fins. It feeds on schooling fish, particularly favoring tuna, and are intensively sensitive to sounds, possibly to follow the sounds of other animals feeding. The Silky Shark is often referred to several other common names including the net-eater shark, blackspot shark, grey whaler shark, olive shark, reef shark, ridgeback shark and sickle shark.

#25. Munchkin:
They may have short legs, but Munchkin Cats don’t let it hold them back. Although they can’t make big leaps like other breeds, they can make small jumps, climb and even sit back on their haunches to get a better look at something. They love to play with dogs, other pets and children. Their short legs actually give them an advantage, as it allows them to make tight maneuvers larger animals can’t. With short legs and a long body, Munchkins look like the feline version of a Corgi or Dachshund. They have walnut-shaped eyes, triangular ears and can have either short or long coats.
To meet this cutie, please complete ONE of the tasks below:
1. Read a book with someone described as having short legs or is short in general
2. Read a book with an someone's eyes visible on the cover
3. Read a book with the MC initials in MUNCHKIN
