This seem to be the way most heroines think in trendy chick-lit, but all readers are not okay with it.

Basically, if you feel it strange and a bit unfair that non dominant and caring guys are viewed as safety pillows to fall onto after the heroines are done having fun, you're at the right place.

The rare and precious guys this is about are sweet, trustworthy, nurturing, attentive ... yeah yeah. But in those books, the female characters who will take them for granted end up to learning a life lesson about respect far more harsh than being dumped/cheated on by dominant males.
