i dislike when different books have the same cover it makes the book less appealing and i tend not to read them.
There's this one with 'Fallen' by Lauren Kate and 'Leopard Moon' by this other person. Sooo funny when I notices they had practically the same covers say for the background.
I am soooo disappointed! I just saw that "Devoured" by Emily Snow and "Tempt me" by Olivia Cunning have exactly same covers. That just sucks.... :(
Another duplicate cover is "Sweet as Sin" by Inez Kelley (good book!) and "A Different Kind of Forever" by Dee Ernst. I had to double check to make sure I hadn't already read the second book. There must be some giant stock photo repository in the cloud from which indie authors choose cover pictures.
Monica wrote: "i dislike when different books have the same cover it makes the book less appealing and i tend not to read them."I know!! Which is sad for the book that had the origional cover as people think that book copied off the other ones.
I'm sure I've seen The Devouring by Simon Holt cover somewhere else but I'm damned if I can find it. The girl with make-up streaked eyes? Can anyone help?
This is just crazy! So many people out there that want to illustrate, have their pictures, or their graphic design be used for books covers and instead the industry reuses covers again and again.
Here are two sci fi books with the same cover, one just added a border and different font.
and
(Edit)Well crap at least on Amazon they have the same cover.

haha - this is hilarious. Well, after spotting my book on this list, I changed the cover to the one below. Apparently my old cover model is verrrrrry popular. Thanks for pointing that out! ;)xx,

As a professional cover artist I would like to say that, on some occasions I've seen authors' forums where some of their members recommend low cost design sites, and the truth is, that they aren't graphic designers, they just copy and paste images, and add a title.A book cover must catch the reader's attention talking about its content with images, has to convey feelings, has to create expectations, and the most important thing... each story is unique, it's cover has to be unique too...

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think Nero by Sarah Brianne has the some cover as another book. If someone could post what one, that would be great.
handy hint: tineye.com is a handy link to check for similar covers and also see where the original stock photo came from...which is how I ended up using all my votes here D: second list in a row now, dang. onto the next one...
I was looking at books and thought i'd found Skellig which i read in school. I didnt realise covers could be copiedSkellig: The Play
The Fatal Englishman: Three Short Lives
I get a kick out of tracing covers back to the stock photos when I see the exact same image more than once. It's really common now with so many self-published books. The big publishers use them, too, but they are combined and manipulated by qualith graphic artists so it's less obvious.
Found a couple more today. The Sun Down Motel

Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida
