Samantha Young is not a new author. She has published books back in 2011 none of her books should be on this list either.
Yep Night Owl does it for me. This book has everything: hot sex, hot sex and more hot sex! Haha .. nah it's really well written and your emotions are on a rollercoaster ride throughout the book. Did I mention there's a lot of hot sex? (I sound like a horny teenager but the hot sex is even really well written!) A definite must read!

I'm staring to think these lists are USELESS!!!! So many authors are NOT new, and there are full series on the list also!The total disregard of people who add these books to this list, and ignore the terminology "First Book by New Author" prevent genuine firsts by new authors from being recognised as they are so far down, they are overlooked!!

You are so right. how can someone with 9000 plus reviews be a new author? and multiple books listed? What about first book don't the voters understand?

Jae Hall -TimberBeast and Mary Moriarty -Search for the Kings of Angkor are first books by new authors too. And I hope you not only vote but actually support all of the new authors on this list.
New Author First Book has been taken over by greedy people who want ALL of their books on this list -- guess what...i got invited to join but i won't when the group is obviously not controlled.
