Books/plots and characters, but also tropes or topics and secondary characters etc. that are highly problematic or problematic in the Romance Genre.
Books that you would NOT like to read and would NOT recommend to others.
Books with very sensitive topics and sensitive topics that are handled in a insensitive way or a thoughtless way, and also on many levels in a harmful and pernicious way.
Where it is clear that proper research into the topic has not been done or that there has been no research at all and no consideration or reflection over what has been written in the books and how detrimental and toxic it is or can be.
Or very serious issues that are either written in a insensitive way or in a undiscerning way, or are normalizing these serious issues.
And do not tackle and handle these issues in a good/responsible or knowledgeable way.
They are problematic because they contain or include problematic and offensive/bad/negative/detrimental/awful things and subjects etc.
