Novels by Christian authors set in the Medieval Era either in a real historical time and place or a fictional one.
For clarification the Middle Ages is generally regarded to cover the period from about 400-1550 AD- that is approximately everything from the fall of the Western Roman Empire to Elizabethan period.
So it doesn't really cover books set Ancient Roman times (but can include the Byzantine Empire, or the Holy Roman Empire started by Charlemagne) as this is the Classical/Ancient Period, or Antiquity.
Nor does it really cover the period after 1550-1600 as this is the Early Modern Era.
As a pedantic Medievalist I would like it if people think about things like realism and historical accuracy or quality of research before voting, bit this is not compulsory.

Cool list, girls. I haven't read many of them though. Gotta get on it!

Some interesting additions so far- even though a couple of the books set in Ancient Rome and Revolutionary France are outside the Medieval period. I am glad people are liking the list- might have to do some others.
Love the list! My Viking time travel is right around the turn of the century (1000 that is). May I suggest UNDERCURRENT?

Some interesting additions- not all necessarily strictly Medieval though- and one or two not very accurate (Fortress of Mist), but its a free vote!

OK, I don't mean to tread on any toes here, but I still noticing titles being added that are not set in the Medieval period (1600s, 1700s etc).
I've got to say, that because a story had got a castle in it, or might be set in a castle, this does not make the setting 'Medieval'. It's more to do with the period than the arcitecture, so can I ask we keep things a bit more accurate.
