I'm trying to remember the name of a book I read from Weekly Reader around 1965-1967 time frame?
It was about a girl who lived with bad witches and she finds out she was really the daughter of a good witch.
I cannot remember the title of the book, and wondered if anyone else out there might have read this book and where I might find the title and a copy of it.

Thanks for posting this! I've been wracking my brain to recall the title of a book I bought through this service. It was about a babyfaced junior CIA agent who gets caught in the middle of a case that is way over his pay grade. At one point, he's trapped in a room with a bomb that goes off, but he survives, though it alters his features somewhat so he more resembles the superspy he ends up becoming. This would have been in the mid 60 timeframe.

Looking for a Weekly Reader Book Club selection late 1956-58. American family living in Japan possibly missionaries with (3?) young boys who make a pilgrimage up Mt. Fuji to celebrate Boys Festival. Remember possibly housekeeper that made them sour plum rice balls to take with them. No idea on title or published date. Just know I would have bought from and read in that time frame. Looking for a Weekly Reader Book Club selection about a cougar living in the western mountains who is being hunted by a bounty hunter. Any help appreciated!

I am searching for a book I read early on in grade school that I received from the Weekly Reader Book Club. I believe the title was "The Biggest Bear" and it was the first one I received in 1962 or 1963.
Anyone recall this book? I would like to get a copy for my grandson who is now in the 2nd grade; as I was then. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking for the title of a book from the 1970s, distributed through the Weekly Reader Book Club about a tribe that worshiped an ant god and the soldiers that destroyed it. The cover was yellow with a group of men on the lower part of the front cover that showed men in hats in front of a fence or building. Does anyone remember this book?
