When I look at this list, I wonder where children's ends and actual adult begins. Does young adult start in middle school, grade 7 grade 9? Where? There are many books I thought were great, but a bit young for young adult, such as The Hundred Dresses. I understand that Narnia is ageless, so I can see including it. But many of the books on this list seem to belong more in children's books.

There are too many children's titles on this list. Though there are books that are cross overs and are suitable for children and teens many of the children titles are really just children titles. Not saying teens can't read them but, to find the best YA title should not include books that were designed for children. There is enough on the YA shelves without confusing the issue.

Putting so many children title on the list is a little like trying to come with the best children novels and then throwing in picture books into the mix or trying to come up with the best classics and someone throws on the list a modern book. I didn't vote on this list because there are too many children titles on it. So, I find it impossible too compare the books.
