Goodreads asked E.A. Briginshaw:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

E.A. Briginshaw Although I write fiction, all of my books have huge chunks of real-life events embedded in them. For example, "Goliath" is about Henry's bipolar brother who tells him a fantastic story while in one of his manic states. That part is true - the rest of the story is fiction. "The Back Nine" is a story about life after fifty. Some of the plot line is based on things that happened to me in real life, some are based on stories told to me by members of the golf club where I worked as a starter, and some are fiction. I find the stories are better if they are based on real-life events because the feelings and emotions come through.

Even my latest novel, "Women 101", is based somewhat on real-life events. Some of it is based on stupid things I did when I was dating, some of it is based on stupid things my son did, and some is complete fiction. I'll leave it up to the reader to determine which is which.
