After the emphasis on "prankster ", I have to wonder if the scrambled chapters in every section of Secret of the Sixth Magic (Kindle edition) is some sort of prank?

I enjoy rigorously internally-consistent magic systems in fantasy novels. Did you have any specific inspirations for the magic systems in your books? I have enjoyed reading and re-reading your novels several times over the years since I first encountered them as a teenager. I will probably re-read them again soon.

Unfortunately not. In case I wasn't too clear, the problem is transposed chapters. The first chapter in each part was correct, then were several chapters from the end of that part, then the chapters resumed?
