Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Evan Minton Hell is a subject I've written on before in blog posts, but I never dealt with the objections surrounding it in as much depth as "A Hellacious Doctrine" does. Some of the material in A Hellacious Doctrine overlaps with the material in my blog posts, but there's a ton of material exclusive to the book, material you won't find anywhere on the Cerebral Faith website (e.g my biblical reasons for rejecting annihilationism).

The doctrine of Hell caused one of my seasons of doubt, not unlike the kind I recounted in "Inference To The One True God". I thought it would be nice for my second book to deal with an issue that I struggled with myself. In fact, in both books, I talk about how I wrestled with my doubts, asking God to lead me to the answers.
