Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tina Alexis Allen A few years ago I wrote and performed a solo show playing my father called Secrets of a Holy Father in order to better understand his complicated and secretive life. Although we can never walk in one's shoes, taking on a character as an actor is the closest I've gotten. My now agent, Joel Gotler, at Intellectual Property Group, saw the show and suggested writing the book. I knew for years that I would write a memoir about my stranger than fiction journey but for sure my solo play was the gust of wind that caused it to set sail.
