Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sharon Clark My latest book was "11X Magic". I have been fascinated with math all of my life and without it we would not have computers, airplanes, cell phones, TV and numerous other devices that have become a regular part of our lives. It is essential for the next generation to have competent math skills. But, because so many children fear or hate math, I want them to see that often learning it can be fun and even magical. So, I've looked for patterns in math that can help young children learn concepts in a fun way.
