Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

J.N. Welsh The last two were pretty recent so I'll tell you about them! A few years back I was in my apartment one night watching the Fuse channel and I saw this DJ playing this song I thought was so beautiful. I promptly searched the artist and his name was Kaskade, an electronic music DJ. The song was "I Remember," a song he did with another named Deadmaus. I quickly threw myself into the EDM world and listened to every song these two created, as well as their remixes. It wasn't until I saw Kaskade live in Vegas that the idea for In Tune was born. Once I got the idea my research was thorough. I attended festivals, met other fans and DJs. I literally wrote In Tune twice because I had so much I wanted to write about, and from many different perspectives until finally, I settled on a DJ and his tour manager.
