What percent alcohol would the Greeks been watering down? My husband and I love your books and have started watering our wine!

Gary Corby The standard ratio was 3 water for 1 wine. The Greeks thought that only the deeply uncultured would drink unwatered wine. Of course, ancient wine was nothing like ours, so it's impossible to know how the taste worked out.
