Goodreads asked Mahina Perrot:

How do you get inspired to write?

Mahina Perrot Inspiration comes and goes, as writers we all know that. I am lucky to have been living at my parents' house during the covid crisis and so for the first time ever I've had a lot of time for myself. I had been wanting to be an author since I was a little girl, but the time felt right then, so I started. Inspiration comes when I write about what really matters to me but what is also something I really want to share with the world. If I write about my adventures, it is because I want to share it with others, friends and family and fellow adventurers and travellers. I wrote Manifesting because I know the process I put in place will help others the same way it helped me. I am writing children's books because I love seeing the look on the kids' faces when they get a new book and get inspired by a new story, but for the latest big series of kids books I am writing "Louise's marvellous world", the inspiration simply came from watching our 3-year-old cutest neighbour play around the farm! She's my little muse and the main character is named after her!
