I was doing research for a contract freelance job I had and I came across Nephilim for the first time. I thought, "Wow, one of those would make an incredible protagonist!" And I love time travel, so the more I thought about a half human, half angel character, and what he could do going outside of time, I just knew that was the story line I had to go with.
