What are your recommendations to someone who wants to write? I have many ideas and a short story started, but dont know which way to go. Raunchy or love/lust.

I am a big fan of Anne Rice, and her advice to writers is what I have followed, and that is, write the story you want to read. I would be more drawn to lust/love, but with descriptive love scenes. Readers respond to different things; some only want inferred sex, others like a little peek, and others want explicit details. You'll find that writing sex scenes is actually quiet difficult when you have to keep coming up with something new for every scene, so try a blend of inferred, then some scenes with a little detail and a few that are explicit.

Thank you so very much for this consuming series. For me this series so far has it all powerful characters, men and women, action, power and undying love. Its also funny at times and heartbreaking. I look forwards to the rest of the series. Do you have release schedule for the rest of the series? Thanks Lisa E
