Richard Lear
Apparently my father was all set to marry another woman a few years before he met and married my mother. My folks never discussed this and in fact told lies about how they met. I only found out about this through a self-published memoir written by my favorite aunt. I think the exploration of what the real story was with my dad would make a great novel.
