Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Keith Yagerman The idea for ''Braxton Rogers and the Brave New Beyond' came from several places. I wanted to tell a fun and exciting story in a unique setting. I love science fiction and I'm also a pretty big Harry Potter fan. In this novel those two things are well established. Simply put, the idea of kids with unique abilities is not original. What makes this story so unique are the characters themselves and how they interact with each other. At its core, this story isn't about Braxton's abilities, but about him stepping up as a son, a friend, and a big brother.
