How do you get inspired to write?

Keith Yagerman J.K. Rowling's ''Harry Potter'' series inspired me to start my own series. As a child, I didn't read very well. I had a learning disability all throughout school and spent a lot of time in LD classes. The Harry Potter series yar the first real novels I stayed with. Somewhere along the way I started reading ''Star Wars'' novels. Then ''Enders Game'' and from there I grew as a reader. I soon discovered Harper Lee's ''To Kill a Mocking Bird' and James Barrie's 'Peter Pan'' (The Original).
