A Goodreads user asked Keith Yagerman:

This may sound nuts, and I could be wrong. But after reading your novel, ''Braxton Rogers and the Brave New Beyond'' I think I figured out who you are. Are you J.K. Rnwling? The only reason I believe that you are, is because you're novel said there were clues to your real identity in the novel, and in the novel you mention, not only Harry Potter, but the name J.K. Rowling. Is this the clue? Are you J.K. Rowling?

Keith Yagerman Dear Kade,
First, let me say thank you for this compliment. I am very flattered that you, or anyone, would mistake my work for that of J.K. Rowling. However, I am not her. She is an influence of mine, and I mention her in my novel as a tribute to her genius. Again thank you for this compliment. This really made me feel amazing.
(Added 4-7-23) Alright Mr. Kade, I answered your question 4 days ago. Since then, you have emailed me the same question a dozen more times. And you tried to DM me on Facebook. If this continues I will block you from my social media accounts. My answer remains the same, and you can take it to the bank, ''I AM NOT J.K. ROWLING!!!''
Sincerely,
Keith Yagerman
