I actually got the idea for my latest book, Rememberers, back in 1996. It was right after I had one of those deja vu feelings. I remembered (no pun intended) feeling so weird, almost swearing that I'd lived that exact moment before. I felt it could make an interesting story one day. I didn't know that one day would be eighteen years later, but such is life.
