How do you get inspired to write?

Katie Cook I find inspiration all over the place and I never know when it's going to hit. The minute something pops into my mind, I stop everything and write it down and then make time to write as quickly as possible while it's fresh on my mind. For some strange reason I do my best writing when I am in an airplane. I don't like to fly and often find myself very emotional when I am traveling. I don't know if it is the reflective mood I get in when I fly or the fact that I desperately need the distraction, but it's when the ideas flow so fast my fingers can barely keep up. Luckily, or not, I fly very frequently with my hosting duties.
