Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Derek Barton The idea for my novel came about because I wanted to write a story of a character that had no grasp of what was real or fantasy. I wanted to explore the various obstacles, conflicts and challenges he would have with family, friends and people he was connected with. I thought it would be an intriguing idea of what if this person was thrown into a position of power and then how would he handle it. Pretty happy with the story's outcome.
