I loved a+e 4 ever. How long did the drawing/ writing process take? That book hits me right in the feelings.

ahh, hello!
It actually took me a ridiculously long time because I had no experience whatsoever with drawing --when I started this project-- (and very little with writing) and none with the technical layout side of things. :/ So it was very trial and error and redos due to mistakes or just plain doing things wrong the initial time.
I first wrote the story out as a novella and then took way too much time to transfer that story into picture form. I would say it took me 2.5 years from first deciding to do it, to getting it to a publisher, with plenty of screaming into pillows in between.
I am very happy if it got you feeling a certain way <3
