Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

David C. Cassidy Great question. I wouldn't claim that my answer constitutes a "couple," per se, but for me, Holmes and Watson are my choice as my favorite fictional duo. Holmes is cold and logical, the (mostly) unemotional side of all of us, a great complement to the more human, vulnerable side played by Watson. Together they make for a fascinating examination of both sides of the human coin. It's our duality that makes each of us who we are, and these two express it beautifully in fiction.
