David Lowther
Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro in Dennis Lehane's private eye thrillers set in Boston USA. Both are incredibly tough and determined and don't mind crossing the line to get a result. They work so well together and Lehane draws each character beautifully. Both are essentially good people from the wrong end of Boston. The first in this superb series is A Drink Before the War.
